These lyrics from Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams perfectly explain the state that I was in while I was roaming around the bustling streets of Tokyo in the winter of early 2018. I was a broken man in search of love but in all the wrong places. But, then I met Jesus Christ, the One who gave meaning and purpose to my life.
Jesus said, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, Streams of living water will flow from within him."
Oasis Tokyo is a place which I wish I had while I was wandering hopelessly in the winter of 2018. It is a place where anyone can come and meet Jesus, the One whose love is greater than life itself.

Hello everyone! I'm Samuel. I came from India to Japan as a missionary in the year 2019.
I came to Japan for a short trip during the early winter of 2018, when my life took a dark turn and I was contemplating suicide. At that time, however, I encountered Jesus once again, Who saved my life.
My desire now is to share the Gospel news that "this life is meaning and purpose, because you are being loved by Jesus!" with everyone in Japan.
In a mysterious way, I met Mika of Hope Family and now we are excited to start the new church, Oasis Tokyo!

My dream is for the Kingdom of God to expand.
In my youth, I used to ride the motorcycle, hoping to escape from fear and anxiety with the thrill of acceleration. However, even if I was able to forget my fears temporarily, I would still suffer with the inability to solve the core of the issue.
And then I met Jesus Christ.
I realized the root cause of my anxiety; it was because I was far away from Jesus.
Oasis is established to be a place where one can find deliverance and freedom from the fears and anxieties of life.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13-14)
A spring of water shall well up from within you!
